Structure and roof
First job is getting it watertight and standing straight. Everything else waits. There’s no sense putting a new kitchen under a roof that still leaks.
Windows and doors
We measure every opening ourselves rather than working off a drawing. It’s the week most people walk in and finally see the house they were promised.
Heating and cooling
Sized for the room rather than for the invoice. We’ll put the unit where the air actually reaches you, and we don’t leave until it’s running properly.
Garden and grounds
The same team that built the house sorts the outside too. So the levels work, the water goes where it should, and you aren’t left standing on a building site.
We don’t sub any of it out.
Most jobs need two or three trades on them. Normally that means two or three separate firms, and the minute something goes wrong they all start blaming each other. We cover all four ourselves, so it stays one number and one job from start to finish.

A price in writing
One number, broken down so you can see where it goes. If anything changes we ask you first.
Dates you can plan around
Start and finish go in the contract. If we’re going to be late, you hear it from us.
We clean up as we go
You’ve still got to live here. Dust sheets go down and the place gets swept before we leave.
It always starts as a drawing.
Everything gets drawn up before a single thing is ordered. It’s a lot cheaper to move a window on paper than it is once the lintel is in. Drag the handle across and watch this one go up.
We’re a small firm based in Cricklewood.
Not a call centre with a van. Whoever comes out to price your job is on site while it’s being done, so you’re never explaining yourself again to somebody new. Most of our work these days comes from someone passing our name over the fence.

It goes the same way on every job. You’ll have a price and a set of dates before anyone starts work.

We come and look
Pick a time that suits you, evenings included. We’ll measure up and talk through what you’re after. If it can’t be done, or shouldn’t be, we’ll say so there and then.

You get a price
Itemised, in writing, usually inside the week. Read it, sit on it, ring us with questions. There’s nothing hiding further down the page.

We book it in and start
The dates go in the contract. You get one person to ring rather than a switchboard, and the place gets tidied at the end of every day.

We hand it back
We walk round it with you and write down anything you’re not happy with. Then we come back and put it right.
